ETP List to be upgraded this year.
The ETP List website is currently under
redevelopment. Our goal is to make the site easier to use and
more secure. We welcome your feedback as we plan website
improvements. Tell us what you
think!
Performance Review results in ETP List
changes. Student data from
all training programs on the ETP List as of June 30, 2006 were
analyzed for program completion and employment and earnings of
graduates. Training programs that did not pass performance
review this year and are not in appeal status were removed from
the ETP List as of October 9, 2006. In addition, some training
programs that passed performance review this year, but
were off the list last year due to poor performance, were reinstated
to the ETP List. Go to the Job Training Results
website to see latest the performance results
for ETP List training programs. (10/9/06)
March
2006
The Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board
adopts revised ETP List performance
standards. Every June, training programs on
the state ETP list undergo a performance review by the Workforce
Training and Education Coordinating Board (WTECB). In this review,
the WTECB uses data provided by training providers to determine
whether or not programs meet standards for program completion rate,
and employment and earnings of former participants. Training
programs have to meet these standards in order to be on the
Washington State Eligible Training Provider List for the next
program year (July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007). For more information
about data reporting, see "Eligible Training Provider
Data Reporting
."
Each year, the Workforce Training and Education
Coordinating Board, on behalf of the Governor, reviews and
updates the policy, called "The Governor's
Procedure for Determining Training Provider
Eligibility
" (PDF), outlining the ETP List performance criteria and methodology,
and ETP List operating procedures. At its meeting in March 2006, the Board
adopted revised performance standards, shown in the table
below, for completion rate, and employment rate and
earnings of former students. For comparison, the standards used in
the 2005 performance review are also included in the
table.
In order to remain on the ETP List for the next
program year, training programs must meet or exceed the 2006
performance standards:
