The Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board is Washington's performance accountability agent, working on behalf of the state's citizens and employers.
The Workforce Board tracks the results and the taxpayer return on investment of 12 of the state’s largest workforce programs. These programs account for over 90 percent of the federal and state dollars spent on our state’s workforce development system.
The two figures below provide the latest employment and earnings for each program over the last four monitoring periods.
Employment rates are the percentage of former program participants who were in employment reported to Employment Security during the third quarter after leaving the program. The results below tend to understate employment because they do not include all out-of-state employment nor self employment.
Annual Earnings is based on the median annualized earnings of former program participants during the third quarter after leaving the program. To derive annualized earnings, the third quarter earnings are multiplied by four.
CAUTION: The programs are provided in the same figure for convenience, and not for comparison purposes. These programs serve different populations, have different objectives, and confront their own unique challenges and requirements. For more detail about the individual program, follow the links at the bottom of this page.
