Ordering a Transcript from a Closed School in Washington state
Licensed private career schools are required to maintain student transcripts for a period of 50 years. If a closed school chooses not to maintain these records, the school forwards them to Washington's Workforce Board for safekeeping. The Board makes transcripts available to former students at no charge.
To request a copy of your transcript from a closed school, complete and sign the Transcript Request Form and mail or FAX the form to the Workforce Board.
