Integrated Performance Information

Washington State ead a project among the states to design the next generation performance management system for workforce development programs. The end product is, "Integrated Performance Information for Workforce Development: A Blueprint for the States."

The intent is for this report to guide a more rational system of performance management across workforce development programs, including: the Workforce Investment Act, Secondary and Postsecondary Vocational Education, Adult Education and Literacy, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, and Vocational Rehabilitation among other programs.

Until this new approach is adoptedon the national level, Washington state will continue to use its state core measures which are similar to the proposed new measures.
